Report: MegaFon launches 5G net in roaming in Romania

MOSCOW, Feb 26 (PRIME) -- Russian mobile operator MegaFon has launched a 5G network in roaming in Romania via French telecom operator Orange, which operates in 22 more countries, business daily Vedomosti reported on Wednesday, quoting a MegaFon official.

Orange was better prepared than the other operators to organize technical connection between the networks, the official said.

This experience will help MegaFon to unroll 5G in roaming in partnership with other operators of group Orange and other companies quickly.
